Have got a 16 chars 2 lines SERIAL LCD display to work with ESP32FORTH.
I2C handling implemented in just 7 lines of code, by using ESP32FORTH's builtin I2C "Wire" vocabulary. ESP32FORTH source can be found here:
Developing such a "HW driver" in FORTH, with its INTERACTIVITY features, is like playing with LEGO
I will later try to use Peter Jakacki's idea of a SW display BUFFER, and do the "scrolling and panning" business there - and send the entire buffer to the LCD. The "HW method" seems cryptic.
Next also try to reduce, or remove, all MS (MilliSecond) pauses in this code, which are "inherited" from an inspirational C-program.

Ralph Lundval , sent us a new music piece played on the ESP32forth.
